Data deletion

Last updated 5 October 2026

When you remove SocialReel from your Facebook account, we delete the Facebook data we hold about you as soon as Meta tells us. You do not need to ask separately.

What is deleted

For each Facebook Page or TikTok account you connected: its identifier, name and picture link, the permissions you granted, when you connected it, and the access tokens that let us post to it, which we store encrypted.

Your videos and your publishing history are part of your SocialReel account, not your Facebook or TikTok data, and are kept as the privacy policy describes. Posts already published stay on the platform; delete them there.

Facebook

Remove SocialReel from the apps and websites connected to your Facebook account, in Facebook's settings. Meta notifies us, and we delete the data above for every Page you connected straight away. Meta then shows you a confirmation code, which this page repeats when you follow its link.

From SocialReel

  • One account: choose Disconnect next to it on the Connections screen. We ask the platform to revoke our access and delete what we hold for it, even if the platform does not answer.
  • Everything: delete your account on the Account screen, which disconnects every account first.
  • By email: write to support@socialreel.app from the address on your account, and we will do it for you.

TikTok

Removing SocialReel in TikTok's own settings stops us posting, but we are not notified when that happens. To have the data deleted too, disconnect the account on the Connections screen or write to us.
